Over the Edge
So, I am supposed to save my weekly reserve points for Saturday- the 'Fakesgiving' of the Century but last night, I went to the Arena Grand Theater and this Giant Macademia Nut Cookie was calling "Caroline, Caroline, Caroline..." Yes, I ate 28 points...out of 19.

Weigh In
The weekend was rough- all this food everywhere. I managed to go over just a little bit on Saturday...stupid potato chips.
Monday was worse- I ate 37 points for the day. It was totally worth it!
Today was weigh in day. I currently weigh 128.2; I told them I started at 135 (which may or may not be true). Therefore, it is uncertain that I actually lost that much weight. It was funny because the computer told me that..."Clearly this plan is working for you...blah, blah, blah." Do you know how they rewarded me? They took away another daily point from me. Yes, that is right...I, Caroline Chao, am con a plan that allows me to eat only 19 points a day.
Thanks for the reward...jerks!

The Weight Watcher
Day 1 was EXTREMELY difficult. I managed to eat 24 points which equals my daily alotted points (20) and 4 activity points. Basically, you can trade exercise for more food. It is not as easy as it sounds; they make you work for those points.
Yesterday's dinner was the worst. Tim and I decided to go to Applebee's b.c I didn't feel like eating at home (when do I ever?) and they have a Weight Watchers menu. WE WERE STARVING. My food comes out and it is a 'steak' the size of my fist. Not cool when you are used eating 22 oz. I was so desparate when I was finished that I was scraping every last drop of the sauce. It was horrible.
I went home at 8:45 and fell asleep right away. Didn't wake-up until the morn. New motto: The more you sleep, the less you eat.
Today was much better. I ate half a bagel with PB which gave me more points for the rest of the day. However, Alisa was sent a Der Dutchman cinnamon roll...which...I ate 1/8 of- totally worth it. 6.5 points left for dinner (plus 2 activity points and maybe more)...but we're making pasta. Apparently, pasta (2 oz) is worth 4 points. I may have to do extra, extra running tonight.

Dubbya- not the current Prez
"W" is the letter of the day. "W" stands for Weight, Weight Gain, Weight Loss and most importantly, WEIGHT WATCHERS. Now, before anyone says, "Caro, you don't need to be on Weight Watchers"...or..."You're crazy." I would like to say, yes, I am crazy and I have a story. My roommate, Heather, is currently on the 'flex plan' for weightwatchers.com. Because of her goals and currently height/weight...she is only allowed 18 points a day. For days, she has been miserable and me, being me, decided it would be a good idea to try this plan out for 5 days. I am a little bit luckier because I have 20 points a day...it goes quickly.
Today is day one- currently 3.5 hours into the plan. So far, I have eaten 1 whole wheat bagel (5 points) with 2 tbsp. Skippy Natural Peanut Butter (5 points). For "lunch" I have eaten 2 cups (1 bag) of kettle corn (1.5). So in 3.5 hours, I have eaten 11.5/20.
Apparently, you do get points for activities (aka exercise)...but it isn't much. For 40 minutes of skating, I earned 2 points.
Today is going to be a loooong day.
